Our Story

We believe it is possible to do good while eating well. That's why we created Kin Collective, a company committed to bringing quality artisanal foods to a wider audience while promoting an ever-expanding variety of small Black-owned businesses. 

The goal of Kin Collective is to distribute wealth to Black-owned businesses.  We partnered with these brands so they not only gain exposure from our box, but make money to reinvest into their own business growth. Over 80% of the box price goes directly to Black-owned businesses.


I have spent more than 10 years of my career working in high-end hospitality and producing luxury events. As a Catering Manager at the world famous Beverly Wilshire, I executed a 600+ guest fundraiser for President Obama as well as many other high-level events for top clients.

After over a decade in the hospitality industry, I’ve witnessed the lack of diversity in the food & beverage industry first-hand. I believe that Kin Collective can lead the change by providing brand recognition and growth opportunities for Black-owned food and beverage companies.

I am also a graduate of the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication.


I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pepperdine University with a degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications. I reside in Los Angeles and began a career on the business side of the music industry. Currently, I work as a Digital Project Manager for a roster of artists at a world-renowned record label.

I grew up in a large family where food was the center of our gatherings. I enjoy cooking and baking for my family and love trying new restaurants throughout Los Angeles County and the world.


I am an attorney by trade, but one of my true passions is food and beverage. I come from a large family that enjoys big get-togethers centered around food, drink, and games. Our family regularly tries to include Black-owned products in our gatherings. My hope is to share how my family experiences Black food together on a larger scale with our subscribers. Already, Kin Collective has exposed me to dozens of new brands that I can't wait to introduce you to as well!
