WHO

Yolande Adedokum started SOS Bliss when she and her young children were all told they had Eczema. After visiting a Dermatologist who gave them holistic products for their skin, she realized that she could make them at home. So, soon after Yolande starting making natural soaps, bath bombs, bath salts and more for her family and as gifts for friends. The more her friends received them as gifts, the more she kept hearing that she should be selling her amazing products. She initially started with Etsy, then rebranded in 2015 and expanded to other wholesale sites and some local Farmers Markets. 2015 was a big year for SOS Bliss because they became a finalist in Martha Stewart’s American Made contest. One day Yolande hopes that you’ll be able to find her in some big box stores like Whole Foods, Target and Magnolia Home.

WHY

When our SOS Bliss soaps arrived, we were sold on their simple yet beautiful packaging, not to mention the beauty of the soaps themselves. Everything from their physical appearance to the scents were magical. Maybe that’s why the kids call our favorite soap, Hugs & Kisses unicorn soap. We can’t wait to jump into a bath now with some of her bath bombs and salts, we know what’s on our birthday list.
